2 yrs ago I bought a new PC windows xp and what a nightmare with support.  They sold me this PC in plain ENGLISH with no accent, now for 2 weeks I deal with this Indian country and their awful accent. I did not even take advantage of my 1 yr warranty (I found other ways for support)nor was I going to buy an extended warranty.  Last week I bought my mother a laptop. I wanted her to have a nice experince with the web.  I deal with updates and set her up.  Now I need to download a 2 month old french cd, but it won't let me download this software.  It is for windows xp and beta so why won't it download.  Also I had alot of problems with the new windows vista and windows defender, couple that up with HP support and not it's a nightmare that just won't go away.  I must of been temporially insane because I bought a compac P.  What a mistake a sister co Of Hp.  I spend about 10 minutes with this idot in the same old bad english that I just can't understand nor can I make him understand my problems.  He keeps telling me things I allready know and tried but we can't get past the problem at hand.  So by now I am mad, not at him but at me for buying another Hp product, so I quickly tell him tanks but tomorrow I will take care of my problem.  So I packed up the laptop in it's box and the very next day I take it back to the store and get a credit on my credit card.  Never again will I buy an HP product except ink untill my HP photosmard printer tanks.  And when my PC tanks and it can go no further I will buy a Mac.  No more windows vista or windows defender, I spent a day trying to turn off windows defender and couldn't find one.  All these new built-in problems that we didn't need.  Well, I did not buy another laptop yet and will continue to look.  I wanted something compatible for my windows xp, but thats not going to happen.  So next week I am going to look at a Mac.

Hello.

The Pavillion is HP's line of crap consumer products.  Don't buy them again, or their Presario line either.  Stick to their business line, the NX or NC series.

Call HP back and ask to speak to a supervisor, then a manager, and don't settle for a telephone call back, either.
