Macy's Furniture - Mattress

We bought this mattress brand Sealy, because the sales person told us this is the best one in the market, and with 10 years warranty. After two years of use, the mattress became deformed, causing pain in my back and my wife's back. My wife had to go to chiropractor because the pain started to bother. We decided to put a complain with Macy's. They sent a representative in our house, after several calls, to measure the deepest point of the deformity. The result was a 1/2" deformity.
We called Macy's after three days to know the result of the investigation, and we were told that the company only change the mattress if the deformity is 1 1/2" deep. We do not agree with this proceedings because the mattress is causing us to sleep uncomfortable, in an odd position where the body is forced to be crooked, resulting in back pain.
We would like to receive a full credit to upgrade to a better mattress. If this is not possible we would like to exchange to another one. We bought four mattress with Macy's and this is the only one causing problem, we just need a amicable solution for this case.

I had the same issue with a $2000 Stearns & Foster Hotel Collection Firm mattress purchased in March 2006 - one year later it had deep contours but upon first inspection they told me it wasn't quite 1.5 each. to me even .5 inch contour in a firm mattress of that price should not happen.
I called again and complained and they sent another inspector who agreed this was a defective mattress and told me I would get a new one or a refund. The sales clerk at the store advised me they've had other complaints about that model and that the manufacturer discontinued it and replaced it with an Ultra Firm model. After being told I would get a full refund, they now picked up only the mattress not the box spring and so I don't know what will happen. I'd rather get my money back and deal with a reputable store as i've had numerous issues with Macys and their customer service and delivery dept. I'm never shopping there again. Don't give up ask for a second inspection and talk to the clerk where you bought the mattress. Ask about others complaining about the same one.
