Complaint against Western Suburbs Railways

Hi,

I need to place a complaint on Indian Railways at Mumbai especially on the western suburbs by persuming that my complaints should reach the Railways Decision Making Cabinet Division Committee and can get a proper resolution for the requested queries.

As i am a traveller of Indian Railway at Mumbai in western suburbs. I used to commute from Vasai Road - Lower Parel daily through (First Class - Ladies).

The first class seemed to be huge crowded and very worst than the second class compartment. Inspite of paid four times higher than the second class needs to travel in a congestive mode by holding the breadthe out, a very suffocating situation.

As there is only one First class compartment has been provided for the ladies and its over crowded even more worst than the second class.

There are no ticket checkings during the peak hours. Most of the second class commuters enters the first class as the first class seemed to be little empty. The T.c's should stand in all the stations especially in front of the first class and should do the checking.

However the first class commuters also have increased so the Railways needs to provide atleast 3 compartments for the ladies first class.

There is no difference between the first class and the second class in the Mumbai local trains.

Even when the local train frequencies have been increased. The crowd seemed to be huge especially on the stations of Mira Road, Byender,Vasai Road, Nallasopra and Virar.

My humble request and suggestion is to improvise the condition of the service provided for the local trains in western suburbs by the following steps:

i)  Local Trains can be made as Double Decker Trains like the one which  
   goes through the  western line track from (Borivali to Surat - Vapi)

ii) Super fast trains can be made to lessen the crowd during all the hours.

iii)Metro lines can be made but it may take a very long time to activate
   such projects in Mumbai.

iv) There should be one way to get in and one way to get down system.

V)  The train structure can be improvised by having a long Glass windows &
   Doors as all the passengers can have a vision of light and sceneric  
   view instead of being shut in a small window.  
   (now the situation seemed to be as the animals have been shut down in
   the packed trains with out proper air to breathe in and couldn't able
   to view the outside view)


 
Problems faced by the commuters in First Class:

i)  In First class the beggers and scavengers get inside and there is nobody
   to scold or to chance them out.

ii) Seemed to be worst than second class. No place to keep our legs down and
   stand comfortably.

iii) No Ticket checking has been done.

All these steps should be taken care and should be retified as there has to
be some remedy for this kind of long term problems.

Kindly give a relief for the people by doing such favour in the Railway department.
