This number is NOT a typo..the last digit of the number is intentionally missing on my caller ID. They have called several times but never leave a message. A quick search on Google bought me to
www.callferret.com which has several reports of 881 area code numbers being used by collection agencies engaged in fraudulent or illegal collection practices..their website is now the target of a DDOS attack.

some further investigation revealed that the 881 area code was last registered to Iridium Worldwide Communications..881 is a satellite access code. also see the following:
