I initially spoke to Joel at Ext. 483.  I signed up for the services, but then called him back with in one hour of doing so and expressed my intent and decision to cancel/rescind. Joel told me this would be taken care of.  It never was. Then I was told to expect a call from a Dimitria Avery, that she was the only one in the entire organization that could refund my money and cancel me. This never happened! After several call and holding on the phone for over an hour I finally got through to her. She transferred me to cancellation dept. After at length recanting my story for the 10th time to Peter Raucho Ext. 219 I was told to expect my $100(that was taken from my checking act) within 31 days. Now today 5/1/11 they have taken/robbed me of another $67.00. I have never been refunded the $100 they took(after I cancelled within 1 hour) and now they keep taking my money!!! I changed my mind immediately because I expressed that the program was overkill since my total debts were $3000. I decided to settle them myself and cancelled this program immediately. Why do they keep taking my money?

They promised to cancel and refund your money.  You revoked their right to continue charging your account.  Their charges are unauthorized, and they have not followed through on their promise to refund.

They will keep taking your money as long as they can.

Do NOT wait further, as your best path to getting your money back is to dispute through your bank under FRB Reg. E.  You must do so within 60 days of the statement date of the statement showing the disputed charges for your bank to be able to reverse them.

Immediately contact your bank to dispute the charges as fraudulent, and close the account due to fraud to prevent additional charges.  Follow up with a written dispute or fraud affidavit sent to your bank's dispute address from your statement.

Also, contact FTC and your state Attorney General.

Unlike Marty I waited a month to call Morgan Drexen back to cancel, I hadn't sent them any money yetthey told my boyfriend that "if" I didn't send $602 by the first of march they were going to put a lien on my house.  I am wondering " if" they have done this to anyone else

They can't just "put a lien on your house".

They would have to sue you first, notify you by serving a summons, then win in court, and get a court order to allow them to place a lien.  Making a threat instead implies they know there is some reason they can't just do that, like their sales representation was fraudulent, maybe originally claiming you could cancel, then renegging (bait-and-switch), no signed contract as they fraudulently assert claims never disclosed in the original offer, etc.

Threats and deception are a sign of weakness, not strength.  The tactics are cheap, but also indicate bluff.

It says that's all your adversary can do, and that they regularly engage in these shakedowns, using threats to close a "sale" because the original pitch was fraudulent.  That also says there are others who might be interested in going after him, if you want to pitch the case to class action attorneys.

Attempting to obtain your money by using a deceptive threat makes it a con and shakedown racket.
