I had a scammer to call me tell me that I owe on a loan and that I needed to pay it in full or it would be reported. They knew how much and which creditor so I paid them. The creditor called me and wanted payment I told him I paid it he had no record of that then I gave him the number he said I was scammed I called the scammer up he laughs calls me sucker. His number is 786-272-6524.

Since it showed up on your caller id as Paetec, they didn't even bother to change their caller id setting.
You were conned. This is a common fake "debt collection" shakedown racket.
The scammers may have used a deceptive script to lead you to reveal the details of the actual debt,
Or they might have pulled your credit reports and found a reported debt, then used that information to pretend you "owed" it to them.
Or they might be buying information from some employee out the back door of the lender.
All 3 sources have shown up with these shakedown scams.
If you paid via credit or debit card, or directly by giving them your checking account number, immediately file a fraud dispute with your bank, and shut down your account or block your card number to prevent additional fraud and theft.
If they had you pay using Western Union or e prepaid debit card, then you are dealing with a scammer that isn't even set up to appear to be a real collection agency. They could be anywhere in the world, hiding their scamming behind anonymity. Such payment demands are a prime fraud indicator.
Contact Paetec to report use of the phone number by a fraud and extortion racket. They should shut down the account.

Complaints report requiring payment by Western Union, use of illegal threats, thick Indian accents, emphasizing "against your SSN", etc, typical for Indian scammers.
They probably just conned you, intimidating you until you revealed enough information they could feed back at you to convince you to pay them.
Bunch of fakes.
Number has been used for about 6 months, which is not very common.
Usually they change numbers about every 2 months, just to hide from the 800noes phone number searches.
Get Paetec to cut them off.
Offered a $2,000 loan but had to pay $100 for an insurance policy in the event the loan doesn't get paid. Wanted me to do a money loan or go to Walmart. Finally when they found out I was disable, Dennis Wilson, not real name, said they were scam artists and that's how they collect money but never give the loans. Thick indian accents and not real names....Dennis Wilson and Micheal Wilson. PLEASE be careful....at least Dennis told me they were scam artists. Sickos to con money from people. Phone number they us is 845-262-5428 and the name of the business under that number is Paetec Communications in Spring Valley, NY. They need to be reported and STOPPED NOW!!!
The IRS DOES NOT make phone calls. They only send out letters.
I have received calls like this several times, and I always handle them the same way. I tell them to “kiss my ass”, and then I hang up on them.
