I think someone has attempted to steal my identity again!(fourth time just yesterday) They told me I had been submitted for a sweepstakes, for a Mustang or $25,000 dollars. I thought it was from my cell phone provider. I just got a new phone today with GPS, when they said they were from GPS, I thought it must be verizon. Then, they asked if had a visa, master or discover card, I said yes. And then thought this is some sort of scam and they hung up! I hope I have not just been ripped off again.

    Phony "sweepstakes" scam.  

    This type of scammer often runs several types of scams at once.  Some are Canadian-based.
