Got an email saying they were going to garnish my wages and arrest me

    Typical shakedown scam..
    1)  Contact by email, hides identity and location.
    2)  Threats to "garnish" and "arrest" (without having a court order), in violation of FDCPA.
    Probably originates with overseas scammers.
    Ignore them.
