I received an email from a business called ACS Legal Group from a Matt Williams, stating I had a delinquent account with them.
Well, after further research, ACS Legal Group doesn't exist and Matt Williams on the phone isn't even American! Also, the loan company that they claim I had a loan with doesn't exist either. It's all a major scam.
I called once with no answer. Then, they called me back from a different number, which was a sure sign that they aren't a legal company. Legal companies or firms usually don't use caller ID to return phone calls. Then, I actually did speak to the so called Matt Williams, who had a thick Indian accent. He asked if I'd like to take care of my account. I told him no because his business was fraudulent and a scam. Then he hung up in my face.
It's important NOT to give this man any information of yours. He's also used several different numbers over the years, too. & what he's doing is SERIOUSLY illegal.

They are a bunch of liars and fakes, just like this "debt".
They are looking for suckers to respond. Ignore them.
If they are calling you, they are probably using VoIP.
You could check with the various VoIP carriers, Vitelity, Paetec, Level 3, Winstar, etc, and if it's one of their numbers, report it's use for fraud and extortion, Maybe get it cut off.
