Well hidden, very limiting, policy terms and conditions and very poor customer service. When I booked the vehicle I repeatedly got a "Car Rental Company Rules & Restrictions:
An error occurred. Please try again later." when I clicked on the terms and conditions. Regretfully, I booked anyway. When I arrived to the counter of the Fox Rent a Car in Orlando Florida, I was told that if I conducted my trip as planned and crossed a state line, they would report the vehicle stolen. Since I booked and paid through carrentals.com Fox stated they would not be processing the rental and would need to contact carrentals.com for my refund. The "customer care" representative from carrentals.com responded in a robotic fashion over and over that they would not be refunding my money due to the terms and conditions. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, he stated, "supervisors don't take calls". After I made several more attempts at resolution he offered me a coupon. I felt this was the best I may get so I asked him for the details of the offer, he then pointed me to their website to click on the "Deals and Coupons" tab at the bottom of their page. He offered me something everyone as access to as a concession. I book at least 1 rental car per month and this will be the last time I book through carrentals.com. Lesson Learned!
