Complaint

We have received calls from "Credit Card Services" several times and we usually just ignore them.  Yesterday I decided to answer the call to request they stop calling us as we are on the "do not call list".  The robo call directed for me to press 1 to speak with a live operator.  Anthony answered.  I politely asked if he would remove our number and he responded by asking me, "Would it be o.k. if I licked your ti--y." The call shows up as "service message,302-394-9557" on the caller id.  I dialed it back, but received a recording stating the number was disconnected. The call originated from Delaware, but they probably have people calling from different locations as well.  Not only are their calls a nussiance; I am highly upset they are vulgar with people who do not want to go along with their scam.  I am particularly upset that they can keep getting away with this as I see that others have complained for serveral years.  I am also filing a complaint with the FTC.

I have been tricked twice by agents working for Northern Leasing co. Once was Chase Bank agents and the other Merchant Services.  I am still dealing with their threatening calls and mail.  I also have a copy of a obviously forged contract..  I want these people to get what they deserve.

There are numerous complaints agasint this company alleging forged contracts.

In addition, there are recent reports they have allegedly "sold" these "accounts" to some new outfit, that is now cramming through charges for "taxes and administrative fees", even on old accounts.

There are some complaints reporting that they back off when confronted by an inquiry from a state Attorney General.

Contact FTC, your state Attorney General, and the New York Attorney General.

In addition, you might contact the FBI's White Collar Crime unit.

They call my cell phone about every 3 days,  will not stop.  Reported them to FTC and told them after 3 time I would consider it harassment.  If we were doing it we would be thrown in jail, I am sick and tired of them calling me.

We have been getting at least 4 calls a day for close to a year-caller id states Card Services. I've reported the telephone #'s to the FTC in a complaint be judging from all the other complaints, the FTC is NOT doing anything. We need to to a stance and sue these idiots!

Why is this not being addressed by law enforcement when there are so many victims of this incessant harassment from Card Services? Can anyone do this non-stop legally?

I have been getting several calls a week for the past year or so from Chase Card Services.  They are relentless and will not stop.  Any idea about how to harass them back? Perhaps a police whistle into the phone?  Perhaps  phony orders?  Lets get these [***]!!!!

I also get these calls from "credit card services" at least three or four times a week.  Pressing #3 does nothing to stop their calls as they suggest you do if you don't want to receive them any more.  They are
persist.  Today I pressed #1 to speak with someone to ask how to stop these call. I politely asked the woman who can I speak with to stop these calls and I heard a click.  She hung up on me so I guess the alternative is to give them the same response the next time I get a live person on the line.  They're  nothing more than ignorant scoundrels.  Maybe we should all start giving them all kinds of ficticious information and maybe they would get the message.  The FTC doesn't seem to be interested in stopping these harrassing calls either.

I encourage everyone to send recurring complaints to state and federal representatives.  If they get enough complaints, maybe they will do some federal investigations and learn when and where they are coming from.  Maybe, just maybe they will get the calls stopped and even do some prosecuting.

We are on a do not call list.  I've asked these folks live to stop calling us.  They just hang up.  Today, I went outside the box.  I bought a portable air horn (used on boats).  When I got the live person, I hit the horn button.  Very very loud. She commented after a minute - "Very Funny."  I stated "stop calling me" and hung up.  I don't know if it will work or not - but if everybody did this?????

I have tried everything else, now I have a new tactic.  I press 1 to speak to a live person, then I just set the phone down.  After a few minutes I hear someone on the other end giving their speal, then saying hello, hello, but I don't pick the phone back up until they have hung up.  I figure it wastes their time as they have wasted mine. I have plenty of time, someone is paying for their time, but it's not me.  If more people would do it, it would be just as much a nuisance to them as they are to us. JMO

It's so pathetic that we can't even answer our phones anymore if we don't know the number calling - every dumb time I do it's a scammer.  Just got another annoying call from Credit Card Service. Now they are using the name Ebby Halliday and the number 1-972-691-4715.   So it this number pops up - don't answer it.

Are people really so stupid that they are giving these scammers their personal info which leads to phone scam being an easy money maker for these crooks?

This company uses many phone numbers and fake names.  The one today was from "Ebby Halliday."  They claim to be able to reduce credit card rates, but all they want is your credit card number so they can bill it until you run out of credit.  They can perform no useful or even legal service, and they are now targeting cellphones.

    Hostage and relentless calls
Credit card services is the craziest bunch of scammers I have ever heard of, they must be based outside the USA for I have made out police reports and notified the Ohio State Attorney General without any response. I receive relentless calls daily which I do not answer. I am on a do not call list, have reported credit card service numbers(which have a lot) but to no avail. Mr Dewine (Ohio Attorney General) needs to do something about these people for harassment if nothing else.

This appears to be a call center out of India.  Since they sucked at providing technical support they are now trying to scam people.

Yup they were scammers from India using VOIP.  We should pull all the work permits from the Indians and send them back to India.  It will hurt Fidelity and some of the other financials but will force them to hire Americans instead of a bunch of scamming curry eaters.
