Cancellation hard time

It is incredible the way these fellas conduct business practices related to cancellation procedures.
I called a week prior payment due date to terminate my membership due to personal reasons.  They informed me i could not cancel over the phone, that i needed to go to a physical store to speak to an agent and cancel.  I went to store and guess what?  They can open new accounts on weekends, but it happened to be me going to cancel on a Saturday and they said they could not cancel on a SATURDAY, that i had to come back.  
My due date  arrived, and the calls started, 3 or 4 times a day, live agents will call to request update form of payment (which i cancel, because i did not want to keep paying a membership i did not want), but NO, THEY COULD STILL NOT CANCEL OVER THE PHONE.
Finally, i could make time from by work schedule and went again on a weekday to the store, another surprise,  i was told in order to cancel i needed to pay the month i was "behind", even though i explained the agent, i had called and been at the same store previously.
Now they keep requesting $29.99 for owed fees, when i tried to cancel several times.

Well i hope this helps someone,  no over the phone, no on weekdays,  it is their rules, not the customer's.
