Whoever you are, you clearly know absolutely NOTHING about who We are, and what we do.

We are a hard-working, honorable, and ethical company.

We serve small business clients by getting them visible on the internet to prospective local customers.

We have thousands upon thousands of happy clients. We send newsletters to them MONTHLY about the service they're recieving from us.

I suppose you think that ALL internet services are 'scams'? Google? Yahoo? Bing? Why not actually TRY calling us and Asking us about our company, and what we do - rather than posting uninformed lies about us?

Wouldn't it be sensible to gather some FACTS before you make statements? Or is that the 'new  rule' these days - that you can blog any unsubstantiated lie, smear a good company, and sit back, thinking you've done a good day's work?

    Shame on you.

And anyone reading this can QUICKLY and EASILY find out which one of us is telling the truth: Simply call us, and find out. We're available for your call, and happy to help, every business day. We can be reached at 1 800 222 5529.

    Sincerely,

    Mark Cave,
    CEO,

Please don't believe the lies you're reading - we're actually a very decent company, with hard working staff who Live to Serve Small Business cusatomers.

    Dear Joe;

I have Never been involved in 'securities fraud' of any kind.

If you actually read the document, you'd know that it concerned just a small number of shareholders in our company felt that they 'wanted out' of their investment.

While we're not a public company, this is of course not as easy as selling shares on the market.

The shareholders were all properly engaged. However, the attorney general of Maryland is not someone you can argue with.

We did NOT admit to ANY wrong-doing whatsoever. We took the position that it was easier to 'rescind' (refund) shareholders rather than have a protracted battle with an AG!

We offered 'rescision' to all shareholders in Maryland. I believe around 7 only decided to take that offer - the rest wished to stay with the company.

Sorry if the FACTS don't fit your argument that we're 'bad guys'. Sadly, you'll find that you're never able to do that - simply because the facts will always be against the 'bad guy' argument.

If you EVER wish to find out who we Really Are, and what we Really Do, just pick up the phone and call us. You'll find the experience Very different from the uninformed lies posted here.

    We're every business day. You can reach us, Toll-free at 1 800 222 5529.

    Dear Amy;

    I'm curious.

What did you find out when you heard the recording of the call?

You posted your negative comments the day before you were to recieve it, so I'm naturally curious to see what the REAL experience was, Once you were in possession of the Real information???

We are SUPER CLEAR that the First 30 days (only!) of our service is delivered without charge. After that it's $99.95 monthly.

It's a hell of a service: We get you found in over 200 search engines. We have 'reputation management' that updates you on everything that everyone is saying about your business online. We place you into the top local results of Google...

AND we give you $25 of Pay-Per-Click advertising for your business, Every Month.

To imagine we'd do all that for Free is Nuts.

And to claim we would claim that it was, is also Nuts.

Please let me know what you heard on that recording - or better yet, call us to discuss our service and your experience with it.

We Actually ARE the 'good guys' - you'd just never know it from the lies posted here.

    We're open for your call every business day, toll-free at 1 800 222 5529.

Ask for Ivan - head of client relations - he'll fill you in on our company and make sure you're taken care of. Tell him I suggested you call.

    Regards,

    Mark Cave,

    Disgusted Retailer in Harrisburg PA
Well Mark you need to train your employees again for all the steps you state your company is supposed to take is not happening!
Your tele-marketers make no sense, the followup call is hurried and vague, no e-mail followup whatsoever and no hard copies or billing statements.
Was called 06/18/10 some guy with the worst accent in the world asking about our business naturally I assumed it was a customer and did say 'yes' many times during the conversation. After he confirmed the business information he revealed his true identity and all I really understood was 'free, do not worry you will only be charged $99.99 after the trial period if you are satisfied with our service & results. 07/26 followup call from the tech.dept to give the information on how to access zip web stating our one month free trial will be staring today. As we were never interested in your service and your telemarketer was just interested in reeling of his sales pitch and not wanting to listen, what kind of contract are you trying to bind us too?
We had no follow up calls either & our business was not on any search engine, just to see if you were genuine or not we went on your zipweb site 07/20/10 filled out the profile than googled but no result. Than we googled zip web 07/23/10 came across all the negative statements. Immediately called your 1-800 number & were told that we had already been billed for the next month as our trial period ended 07/18/10 but your tech stated that it started 06/26/10.
    So what is happening here?
Who called up to find out if we are satisfied and what is being done to promote our business during the trial period?
Jasmine who spoke to us today stated that as our profile had already been submitted to 85 search engines, not 200 as you state, we had to be charged. Now Mark how can you allow us to have a free trial without submitting our profile to search engines so why are we being charged for this?
So in essence you do absolutely nothing during the trial period! We did not see our business listed on any of the local searches but you are quick to bill us for services never delivered!
What would you like to call this if not a scam?

I have a very bad experience with ZIPWEB, Payment1, or as

they are listed on Better Business Bureau (BBB) eBusiness

Service Group. Just as most other posts here describe,

they do not appear to me to be a reputable company. As of

today, May 5, 2010, BBB has them Rated F. BBB description

of Rating F is We strongly question the company’s

reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to

respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly

misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s

licensing or registration requirements, their complaints

contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s

industry is known for its fraudulent business practices."

(That is a copy and paste from BBB site.) This Rating

accurately describes my experience with the company. First

off, the person at our company that talked with someone

with a heavy overseas accent never gave authorization for

any charges. Additionally, our representative took the

time to ask three times if there would be any charges of

if there ever would be. Once we discovered one of our

phone lines was being charged $107.95 per month, we

contacted the third part Payment 1 to find out what the

charges represented. They told me they specialized in

search engine optimization so our company would show up

first in search engines. They also claimed that the search

had to include city and state. Well guess what, it you

search for our business including city and state we will

be on the first page because we are the only business that

will fit the search. We have never been shown any evidence

that any service was provided for the fees charged. They

would never provide any type of invoice or bill describing

the charges. I requested a copy of the audio file that

they claimed contained the proof of authorization for

charges. They claimed that a copy of this audio file would

be provided for me within 7 business days. I have just

called them for the 8th time in 7 weeks and they still

have not provided the file. They did once offer to refund

one monthly charge because of the delay in providing the

audio authorization file. I contacted the North Carolina

Utilities Commission and filed a complaint against ZipWeb

for what the commission calls SLAMMING. Our telephone

carrier promptly refunded all charges from ZipWeb.
When i did finally get the audio file, sure enough it had

been edited to only include the agent getting our

representative to say it was ok for them to provide one

month of free service. Total rip off. Call your states

Utilities Commision if you have been charged unfairly as

    we were.

    Just slammed by Ebridge/ZipWeb
Mark...we were just slammed by Ebridge or Zipweb or whatever name you are going by this month!

We were told your process of quality assurance that three outside agencies review all conversations...really?  What three outside agencies review the conversations between your telemarketers and customers?  Do they review the entire initial conversation and all of the followup calls?   Please provide the name of these agencies as I would like to review their credentials.  You spend alot of money to pay three agencies...do you not trust your telemarketers are giving full disclosure to the customers?  You mentioned all your 'teams' that followup on the conversation...this is a contradiction to the rep I spoke with as I wouldn't consider an outside third party non-biased agency someone who should be on your 'team'.  Conflict of interest...hmmmm?

Does 'no', 'I don't want the service', 'I don't want any charges on my bill' mean we still get the trial period (that we stated didn't want)and then have to cancel even though we told your telemarketers we do not want your service?

We are awaiting a call from your "dispute" team who is going to review three taped conversations from over two months ago to determine whether or not we will be credited $114.95 on our AT&T bill.  I understand we are not the first customers to be slammed but hopefully this information will prevent others from the same fate.  Your methods are unethical and it's plain and simple theft.

Mark, you are such a pile of horse dung. I asked for Ivan 12 times during one phone conversation and 6 times during the second conversation. Your "great" managers said the only way to "complain to Ivan" was to write a letter because he had no phone. I was born yesterday so I believed that. I then asked for his email address and guess what, he doesn't have one of those either, even though he is in the Internet business. But then again, I was born yesterday so I believed that one as well. Mark, if you are so PROUD of your company, why don't you grow some big boy balls and post Ivan's phone number and email address. There are a lot of us that would like to have a heart to heart conversation with him. Dig him out of you pile of horse crap and get his sorry butt next to a phone. Doug T

Mark  Cave: Your company calls me relentlessly and if I don't say what they want then they get upset and hang up only to repeatedly call back. They say this opening line: "we are updating our free directory  and want to insure that the address and phone number are still the same and you are our featured listing this month" they then want you to say yes or no to each question ..is this your address, ..phone number.. etc. "  I always ask basically the same , if they are selling anything and they say "no'  every time; I ask if it costs anything and they say no its free they are only updating records and that it is a directory that they are merely updating it and each month they feature a different business FOR FREE always free free free.   This is common in my profession as a lawyer to get calls to keep contact phone numbers current and there are free directories for this. But I see my  experience is the same as others, that they are never told about any charges, just a free listing. Now that I looked into this more and see the scam and that unknown charges appear on people's bills under various alias business names or third party billing companies-- I am going to audit 2 years of phone bills to make sure I was not scammed, too.  By the way I see you Mark Cave to be listed as an attorneyey (mis-spelled) as "Inc Ebridge" categorized under "legal services" under a website called Manta.    Is this a mistake or are you an attorney and how is it Ebridge is both a legal service provider and an advertising firm its confusing to me.

That's easy to answer Yukki. I don't know how it is in your country but in America illegal companies can and do operate for many years then we caught often only pay fines and open up under another name using various corporations to protect the players. I know in Japan a disgraced CEO KILLS HIMSELF OR IS SENTENCED TO DEATH , not so in AMERICA which is why many scammers come here form other countries to steal from Americans , notice all the foreign  names and as to Mark Cave notice is degree or "HONS degree" (abbreviation honorary ?)is from Nottingham.
