If the uninterested tech they sent is to be believed, it is this company's policy to only fix what malfunctions in front of them.  The fact that they had just weeks before seen the same problem and then replaced a part which then failed, did not sway him from the moronic repetition of "It's company policy". I did not start out this mad. Clearly, he is paid by the number of calls he makes, not by fixing a problem--which might be the policy of the previous crew.  So in response to my question, "Wait, you can't take my word for it that the control panel flashes and the oven turns off?" he helpfully suggested I "take a picture of it."  OK, at least our cards are on the table--A and E must believe customers fake problems, then run used appliance parts racquets out of their garages.  I asked if he had any diagnostic tools so that he would not have to wait for it to flash.  "Nope." So I was instructed to go ahead and use it and if it conked out again mid dinner, just take a picture. Run from this outfit, and don't look back.  Or, teach your appliances to malfunction on command.
