canceled charter 3 years ago, have told and told and told them to quit harassing me yet three times a week I get more junk mail, 4 times a week phone calls, and now charter is knocking on my door. I have asked them to quit 50 to 60 times, have called their 800#, and have done everything I can think of except a law suit. This seems to be a situation for higher powers or a large group of irritated people like myself!! is there any help for this? large corporations seem to make there own rules!! BBB do your job!!!

File written complaints with your state public utilities commission.
File Do Not Call complaints with FTC.
Sue for violations of TCPA if they keep calling, penalties are $500 per call, $1500 per call if "willful".

Also, when someone calls, I tell them to please hold on until I can get the head of the household, but I don't do that, I either string them along with tons of stupid questions or whatever else I can think of.
Or, when shoppinh & they want me to buy a product warranty - I say, "oh I don't need that, I have faith that the new range", (or whatever) you sold me is a solid product...and then I say, "maybe I should think about buying it, IF you're already telling me that it's going to break down!"
I'll teach them to mess with this senior citizen!
