Will Not Buy KitchenAid in the Future

Our dishwasher is only 71/2 years old and is typically used only once every two weeks, lightly, at best. The motor has failed. The replacement/repair will cost approximately $400.00. Even more unfortunately, this is the second repair we've had to make. There's also a problem with the control boards catching fire! In the future, I'll choose a different brand.

    Did my kitchen over and bought all kitchenaid applicances.......in three years we had to get a new refrigerator....I fought tooth and nail and kitchenaid finally sent me a new one.......the inside was cracking.  Now my dishwasher, I think we got a lemon, I have had a repair man there 3 times in the last year, and twice before that, I would never buy kitchenaid again.   My son owns a popular bar that serves three communities here in New York and I can not say a good thing about kitchenaid to the patrons.
