My cousin has a charge on his credit card for software renewal that was not authorized or requested.  He hasn't had a computer for almost a year since he is in a nursing home!  Trend needs to wait for the customer  renewal requests before billing prior users of their service.  I will make sure that I do not buy a computer loaded with their anti virus software. This type thing is becoming too common in the technology field. If we all continue to complain perhaps some of these people will get the message that they are bordering on robbery..

    Got a message to renew Trend Micro. I did and then was later charged an additional $71.95 for an annual recurring debit. :-(

    Unauthorized debit from Dri Trend Micro for 38.83. Called above number 1-866-585-3251. They gave me a refund authorization number and said it would be refunded within 7 business days.

    I also received an unauthorized debit on my account for 35.95.  I also called the 1-866-585-3251 and they will refund my money within 7 days.  I just don't understand this when someone has not authorized them to do this debit repeatedly.

    I called and was informed that the charge was the result of an automatic renewal for an anti virus product.  I too called 1-866+585+3251 and received a refund confirmation notice.  I also notified my bank that the charge was unauthorized.  Hopefully the credit does come through.

    Just got my credit card bill, and found a $48.55 charge that I didn't authorize. Thanks for the input and number to call. Hope I get a refund too. This is infuriating.  Won't use Trend ever again.
