There are a number of companies pulling this scam, trying to panic people into paying for their alleged "auto warranty", while they attempt to deceive people into believing this is somehow connected either to the manufacturer, or to a warranty they already have that is about to expire.
A warranty, like any other insurance product, is no better than the company that stands behind it. A company that is trying to sell a warranty through deception says all you need to know.

I would like to know how they got this information. My dealership says its from the state...car registration information. However, somehow they call both my phone and my unlisted cell, so I think the car dealership gives it to them. If you say no, they still call you back. If you try and talk to them, they hang up. I am being absolutely hounded!!! But I cant get any kind of information about them, even a name.

Here is one way to fight back. Call their 800 number from a land line (not your cell unless you have unlimited minutes!). Turn on your television, preferably to a sleazy shopping network, set your phone on speaker phone in front of the TV and leave it for as long as their computer will allow you to record a message. Repeat as necessary. I have cost them several hours of long distance charges and will continue until I feel better. FYI, for Automotive Warrantee Solutions of Boca Raton FL, the number is 800-376-5644. I have also treated them to several hours of Sunday morning religious programming.
