DONATION FOR HOPE FUND

Please,ask your cashiers not to ask us if we want to donate money to the HOPE fund, because it comes down to emotionel bribery.You are sometimes ask by a friend to buy him/her some food at KFC and they give you the correct change for their meal.The cashier always ask you if you want to donate a R2.00 for the hope fund and you only have the money for the meal on you.You feel so embarrassed when you don`t have to donate.I always ask them to add the R2.00 to the meal if it is for me.Now,some of your rightous people are gonne ask,Why don`t you ask that same friend who send you to add the R2.00 to the meal.These guys are lower income earners and it is only for one day(1 piece of chicken and pap) in the month that they can afford to buy KFC that R2.00 means a lot to these guys.After that meal,all the money that he earned goes in to his house for his family. I even sometimes don`t eat my food at work, just to give it to the security guards at the gate, because of their long shifts.I know that i`ll have a deceant meal at home.These guys rather ask me to buy at another fast food outlet because they know that they are goiing to be ask for a donation.I think the initiative by KFC is excellent and that they must not stop with the program,but please don`t ask us to donate.Let us rather give from the heart .
