Returning a perfume for $12.99

I went to Ross store to return a perfume for $12.99. The associate don't want to accept my return because it was open and ripped. I told the assoc. and the supervisor her name is Taylor - she said they don't want to accept it and told me they want me to go back to that store where I bought it - in mountain view. I told them it is an inconvenience for me to go there and return it coz I just live here around the vicinity they want me to return it there just to waste my time my gas and the hassle. Hopefully you guys can do something about this situation for few dollars you are not gomna take care of your customer. Train your associates and work more on great customer service! Coz you gonna loose a lot of customers by doing poor customer service. Just think about it! Thank you! Hopefully I could hear any feedback from you guys!
