when I called my bank a few minutes ago to dispute charges from other scammers who had obtained some sort of access to my account, I was surprised to hear of an additional charge from "IC Systems". Does anyone receive calls from 213-533-8042 or one of the alias 213 area code numbers? They may be charging your credit or debit card too, do NOT give them your information; it seems that IC Systems or someone named Jay Strongbond is responsible for this, and it is impossible to get to the bottom of it by searching on google.

anyone with similar issues? what can i do about this? I would like to file a lawsuit, but don't know how to go about doing this, and cannot find out what I was being charged for or how my information that resulted in such absurd charges to my debit card may have been misused, and by whom. HELP

213-533-8042 is one number for "global reach int".

They have many complaints for unceasing "Do Not Call" violations, as well as allegations of telemarketing various questionable "products", with some use of aliases:  "Government grant" scams, "NV Chamber of Commerce verifying your information", sounds like opening line in a "business directory" scam, "on-line business opportunity" scam, etc.

There are also some complaints of fraudulent charges made without authorization.

BBB finally has an address on them in L.A.:

"Companies" making fraudulent charges often put thru many small charges under different names.  They may have obtained your account information from some other company you may have disclosed your account number to, and they may in turn pass it off to some other scammer.  They are crooks.  That is why there is no point in treating them as legitimate merchants making mistakes, nor is it safe to leave that account open, since they will probably try again in a few months.

If you notice any fraudulent charges against your credit card or checking account, call your bank immediately to notify them that the charge is fraudulent and to close that account number to prevent future fraudulent charges.

Follow up with a written dispute of the fraudulent charge sent to your bank.  You must make sure they receive this written dispute within 60 days of the statement date of the statement showing the fraudulent charge, so send it immediately, and send it certified, to the dispute address on the back of your bank statement.

Do NOT use debit or check cards.  Cancel any you have.  Use only credit cards at on-line or retail merchants, since it is less disruptive to cancel them after a security breach.  Use checks only with rent, mortage, or utilities, etc. (companies that you know).  Use ATM cards with PIN only at your bank's ATM machines.

I.C. Systems is a debt collector.  Regardless of the source, treat all charges you have not authorized as "fraudulent", filing written complaints, and changing your account number.

What is the information showing on your statement for each of the charges?
