We have been harassed the last several days by people calling from EZ Yellow pages yelling at us that we have received a Free 12 month trial and now we need to pay up for that service.  On the phone, it was necessary to keep asking questions and denying ever having approved or done business with this company.  It is criminal what these people are doing.  When you are having a busy day, you listen to these stupid telemarketers with half an ear. Say NO, loud and clear and tell them you are contacting the FTC, the State Attorney General and will de-fraud their company for Fraud.

    All they do is make deceptive telemarketing calls, then attempt to use harassing or abusive "collection" calls to extort payments based on fraudulent claims to have a "contract".

    Ignore them, or have fun with them if you enjoy such things.  

    In any case, file a fraud complaint with your state Attorney General, and with the U.S. Postal Inspector if they send a fraudulent "invoice".

    ATT Yellow Pages wouldn't have waited 12 months to bill you.  Normal businesses bill you at the time you actually agree to services, not 12 months later, claiming you owe them and they already did something according to some "verbal agreement".   These sleazeballs are just a scam.

    When you are called by a telemarketer, particularly one with controlling or abusive manners, there is nothing wrong with just hanging up.  

    We think we have some obligation to be polite, or professional, but calling companies for the purposes of fraud is hardly polite or professional.  If some stranger approached you on a street in the bad part of town, you would know better than to talk to them.  The telephone is now the bad part of town.

    None of that changes the fraudulent nature of any "legal" claims scammers may allege.  You don't "accidentally" have a "contract" with these bozos, whatever they say.

    It doesn't take a consultant to just tell them to go to hell.  Eventially they give up.

    Whenever you get some call falsely claiming you "owe" them something, report it, to FTC, your state AG, and their state AG.  Then if they keep calling back just tell them you are recording the call as evidence, and let them talk all they want.

    Fraud is fraud.  Call it that, and report it as a matter of policy.

    they are located in the Mall San Pedro Costa Rica....doesn't apply down here...i live here and most of the employees there do not realize they are working a scamm....they think it is lagit....I worked there for 2 days once..till i realized it was all [***]...approached the manager and walked out....Mall San Pedro 6th or 7th floor back side of the mall... Not the same elevators that Datasension is on..other side of mall...
