harassing telephone calls Illinois

I had an interest in Direct Buy after seeing their commercials. We were going to remodel our kitchen and thought who does not want to save money on a quality product? So I called them and set-up an appointment to visit their showroom.  As it turned out my husband was not feeling good that Saturday so I rescheduled for the following Saturday.  My husband became seriously ill and we were not able to attend then either. I received phone call after phone call to reschedule. I told them my husband was in the hospital and we could not attend and i would appreciate it if they would take me off their list until he could get back on his feet.  Two weeks went by and I received another call. I told them my husband was receiving treatment and we were no longer interested to please take me off their list. Phone calls came about every two days for weeks and months. I would just hang up and they would still continue to call. I finally had enough and yelled "TAKE ME OFF THE LIST AND DO NOT CALL AGAIN!!!!!!" Another week and another phone call only this time "Shawn" said they we should really come out and see their showroom that the fresh air would do my husband good. I told him that I am on the do not call list and wanted to talk with a supervisor. He said he was busy and I should just talk to him. It turned into an ugly shouting match and I finally hung up. Experiencing the rudeness as a "potential" customer, I will never do business with this company and I shall share my experience with anyone who will listen. I have read many of the complaints listed and now feel very lucky that we never made it to that first "open house."
