Lid broke

I've had the same problem..washer is 4 years old. Always had to rinse darks a second time but managed to just deal with thata.  Can't just deal with the lid as the glass is coming out on the left corner where the lid frame cracked.  Washer is 4 years old - paid $934 at Lowes - should last longer than 4 years...in addition, it's the lunar silver so unless I want mismatched washer and dryer - I will have to get a new set.  What a junky washing machine.
