Torn Clothes in EVERY LOAD!

This is ridiculous...torn, ripped "eaten" clothes in every load for months...had Sears repair person out who said there was no problem and "filed down" a "nick" in the drum....Over $1000 in clothes destroyed to date...stupid...still under Sears warranty and trying to get competent repairs...we finally started saving the destroyed clothes to show the next repair man and hope for compensation.  After reading all the complaints I am VERY discouraged.  I thought Maytag was a reliable brand, but now I am telling all my friends and posting on various web forums that they should avoid Maytag because of this ridiculous problem... A washing machine that eats clothes in every load that repair people claim has no problem.  Now I need a real repair or replacement and then I have to spend time shopping for new clothes some of which are NOT REPLACEABLE!
