Failed Refinance & Modification Program

We spent months of working with Wells Fargo on a failed refinance because Provident Funding would not subordinate their loan even though they were already subordinate for the second. They refused saying it's not a company policy. Why did they accept the second loan in the first place! Had we been successful on the refi. it would have saved us $1100/mo., then after more months of missed pmts we fell behind and the foreclosure process started. On at least four occasions working with WF on a loan modification and each time it was the same drill, sending information, the fedx packets, phone calls leading back to the what I call the starting line. I told my wife I wouldn't be surprised if all these banks were getting relief from some federal gov. agency for just going through the motions acting like they were really trying to help homeowners but, in reality they were minimizing revenue drain. We lost everything, cars, house and our pride.
I think it was a well intended idea but poorly implemented, low priority oversight resulting in failure on a horrendous level. All involved should be ashamed and go home and look in the mirror and say stupid, stupid, stupid!
