These scam artists are supposedly trying to collect on a payday loan from 2014. They claim that a check was returned, yet I paid by direct debit from my debit card. They claim that I have been "avoiding them" since 2014, that they have sent numerous emails and made many phone call. All these calls and they never left a message? And when the payment was missed, wouldn't they have contacted me immediately rather than waiting 5 years? They are going to take me to court so they claim.
First of all check the statute of limitations where u took out the loan and in your state. Do NOT agree to pay them anything as that will start the clock again. Do not answer yes to anything as they may record the yes to a completely different question. Do not even say yes to is this so and so. I have received texts from them. On a good search engine look up "zombie debts". If you are being contacted this often file a complaint with the regulatory authorities as what you describe is harassment.

These people have been calling my phone my family phone saying I owe for a loan in 2013 didn't give no details about the alleged company they said they were a law firm which is not true and this loan i allegedly took out 2013 why wait 6 years

They called me over and over, Telling me I was avoiding them and that I had a payday loan from 2013 that was never paid and they were going to sue me. From what Ive read it looks like they have the same shpeal for everyone. I called a law firm who contacted them and they are a scam company who tries to get money for old debts

I receive calls from these people constantly and although I have never answered their calls, resources like this have helped me realize that these people are a scam. I filed a complaint with the FTC and found on the Better Business Bureau that their offices although listed as in Florida on their website, the BBB does not have a record of them actually being registered in FL. I informed them via email of this and my FTC complaint and they just now left a voicemail telling me that they know who I am and all about me, and that if I do not call them they will move forward.
Their website has them in Pembroke Pines, FL. Filing a complaint with the Florida AG's office now.

Keep getting calls from the #313-209-6215 which says SKAM ALERT. They left a voicemail threating legal action about a payday loan I know I've never dealt with (Easy Corp) no other name was given. About a loan from 2014. I haven't gotten any emails/direct mail from any old payday loan companies or collection agency. They never threaten with garnishments. Just strong arm you with threats. I'm on the phone now w/FDC. And I'll also get in touch with our AG in Michigan.

Receiving multiple calls a day from Mediation Account Center. Finally answered today to listen to their claim. Stated I owe on a payday loan from 2014 and they can halt the wage garnishments if I make a payment now. I asked for the verification of the debt so I could forward it to my bankruptcy attorney since I am working through a Ch. 13. (Debt is fake but asked for info anyways to see what they came up with.) Gave me an account number and said I could contact the payday loan company directly for debt verification. I told them unfortunately the deadline to file a claim towards my Ch. 13 case has closed and they can take it up with my attorney. They got aggressive and said they will get my drivers license suspended and fired from my job then hung up. I expect more calls in the coming days.
The same here and they said it was a pay day loan from 2014 too but today they said it was from a pay day loan in 2017

Thank goodness I finally wised up and checked into this kind of call. I paid one of the scams and since they were saying it was so long ago and I had done a payday loan once before I raised cain that they were wrong. They called an old employer of mine and said they were sending someone to serve me with a court order. Well, I paid it and then demanded a paid in full letter. Now, 8 months later I get another call but different company and they also say payday loan from years ago. I said I paid it and I have proof and she said it was another one. I said, nope. I didn't have one. They won't quit calling. I called a friend of mine that works as a manager at a payday loan place. She listened to the voicemail and said, that's a scam. I went back and pulled my proof of paying the other company and now that I look at it....it's fake. I will never fall for this again.

"Michael" called me today and was very rude and refused to answer some questions a had about this so called lawyers/mediation office that he is calling from. I was told the lawyer's name was A. Bank and that I owed a debt from a payday loan from 2013. When I asked questions to try to verify if this was a legitimate company, I was told that I was insulting Michael's intelligence. He had personal information of mine that any good scammer could get. I told him the reason why I was asking was because I had just been scammed with an electric company scam and wanted more information. All of the information I was requesting was not given, I picked up another phone and called the number he was calling from and it rang 9 times before I got a womens voice on their voicemail recording which said nothing about this being an attorneys office. I'm here for the [***] "michael" I have called the BBB in my state, the attorney General in the state of Florida and the Feds to file a complaint not only for harassment but for lying saying you were from attorney "A. Bank's" office and scamming others even if it wasn't me. We are in the middle of a pandemic and he says how are you going to feel when you can't wake up to your family because you will be in court or jail for fraud!!! How professional is that. Asking you to verify who you are doesn't warrant yelling, or your rude comments. Maybe after enough people complain, they will be forced to sell the debt they purchased from someone else in the first place. 👋 BYE MICHAEL. if thats even your name.

I received a call today from Mediation Account Center saying that I owed a payday loan. No date/year was given. Payday Loans were outlawed in my state back in 1999. They are using a local area code, so the call seems legit. I called back the local number and yes, after about 8 or 9 rings, the phone was answered, I could hear the call center/people talking in the background as I spoke with a very rude man. I have never had a payday loan and told them I know they are trying to scam me. I was told I was being juvenile, I was laughed at and I was threatened with a law suit. I filed complaints with the AG's office in my state, Floriday, where they are located and with the BBB.

Mediation Account Center calls me 5 times a day stating that I own on a payday loan called EZ payday loan. They can't tell me that date of this supposed loan. All they kept saying is they got the loan in 2015. I told them I never had a payday loan and they threatened to take me to court un less I pay them $1000. They refuse to mail me documentation of said loan. They called me from 405-731-9567 when I called the number there is no voicemail it just rings and rings. They left a voice message to call them back at 888-694-4742 and it never rings it goes straight to voicemail. They knew where I live and states that they mailed several letters to me. I asked them to send me proof and they just kept saying if I don't pay them they will take me to court.

same thing happened to me today> When I told them that I wanted to speak with their fraud dept the dude told me that they didnt have one. When I asked to speak with his supervisor he said he reviewed my case but he was on the other line. these people need to be shut down
