Scams

I got a call from a woman saying she was with the US Government and I had been selected out of 1500 people to receive a $9000 grant I did not have to pay back.  She gave me Activation Card #SR567 and a phone number #315-636-4315 to call her senior account manager to approve the funds to be released.  She had a very heavy accent and she knew my name and address.  I never called but it is scary that people can have your information and scam good hard working people!!!!!
