Country: United States
We have been receiving calls from Rachel and/or Lisa of Card Services for over three years. We have reported them to the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and they still manage to call. These calls come from early morning to late evening and are bordering on harassment.

When we press the selection to speak with a representative, we are cut off.

It is our hope that this complaint will be put an end to these calls.

    Why
The FCC has temporarily halted 7 minor unprofitable boiler rooms who will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since they are making money with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like http://www.telephonemanagement.net and http://www.CallerID4U.com

In their own words:  'Every day your company makes thousands of outbound phone calls. Every one of those calls generates revenue for many companies, why not yours? Our CNAM revenue-sharing program helps you make money every time a Caller ID request is made by a phone carrier. A high-traffic call center can lose hundreds to thousands of dollars a day to phone carriers by allowing them to charge for access to your own data.'

You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. They are making money even if you don't answer the phone. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their scam then it is just icing on the cake for them. These people are the lowest form of filth on this planet.

What To Do When You Get an Illegal Robocall; http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/robocalls
    1.    Hang Up. Do not press 1 or any other numbers to get off the list and NEVER call them back
    2.    Consider blocking the number or on a cell phone add it to a contact list and assign NO ring tone
    3.    Report it at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
    4.    Report it at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
    5.    People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office
    6.     Report any criminal activity to the FBI here:    https://tips.fbi.gov
This is an all out attack from these scum suckers! EVERYONE should be reporting them everywhere that they can. Since this is an obvious attempt at identity theft the FBI should be forced to get involved. (Prosecute them in criminal court instead of civil penalties).

Register your phone numbers online at http://www.donotcall.gov or call (888) 382-1222 (must call from # you want removed).

There is a blog site that has information on one of these operations:     http://telemarketerspam.wordpress.com
Please read the blog and report violations to the proper authorities.

I get calls from them several times per day and when I start blocking their calls they start calling me from private numbers and I cant block them.  I cant "block private callers" from my line because my work's phone is a private caller line and it has to get through.

I get a call every day.  If I press 3 to stop the calls, I get one the next day.  If I press the number to talk with someone, I'm #19.  If I hang on and say take my name off your list they hang up before I say two words.  This can be stopped.  They just don't want to do it.  I don't understand what they get out of this, but it's ridiculous.

I contacted the FCC and got a reply that they don't investigate individual complaints.  What a joke.  I bet there are millions of "individual complaints".  I get a call every day, sometimes, two.  Maybe we should all contact our representatives and tell them to disband the FCC.  Apparently, it has no purpose.

ANOTHER Robo call from “Lisa at Card member services” about credit card interest rates, (the caller ID showed the first six digits same as my number) I pushed three to talk to someone (my objective is to waste as much time of theirs as I can). I was transferred to a guy with a heavy accent. He explained that since I did not miss any payments I was eligible for the plan He asked which card had the most debt and I said it was a Visa, he said he needed the expiration date, I said December 2017.  I told him I need a second to find the card and then asked him for a telephone number that I could call him at in case we got cut off.  He immediately hung up on me.  I kept him tied up for two minutes. If everybody could tie them up for only 2 minutes they would go out of business. BUT remember do not give them any valuable information!!

I have been getting calls from Lisa @ card services for about 5 years now. The calls come from a number that has the same first 6 digits as my number. When I select the option to speak to someone, its the same guy, same voice w/ heavy access. If you ask to be removed from their call list, he puts you on hold and never comes back or hangs up. He will not identify who he is, his phone number, or company name. Its obviously a scam, but I get these calls all throughout the day, everday, for about 5 years. These telemarketers deserve the death penalty.

These scammers Spoofed my wife's phone number to trick me into answering! How did they get it? Why do this if it is a legit company? Same robo call as always 'Lisa call in regards to your credit-card account' The never remove my number, when asked to do so they HANG UP after putting me on hold. They do not follow the DNC registry, will not reveal the name of the company, using robo dialers to call cell phones....so many illegal actions and THEY KNOW IT.

I get the same calls as everyone else. The first 6 digits match my number. When I press to speak with someone, the second I say, remove, the guy hangs up on you. I hope the scammer gets into a friggin buggy accident on his way home from the boiler room and kills himself.
