ripping my clothes

I have a Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer and for a long time now I have been finding holes in
our clothes. The last straw was the hole today in my daughters brand new vera bradley blanket that
she received for Christmas. I don't know what to do or how to fix the problem. Frustraded
