I see we are not the only one to have issues with A & E.  They were scheduled to come out today, July 21, 2011.  I wish we would have read all these complaints.  Because everything they are saying is what happened to us.  Companies need to stop using A & E Factory service NOW!!!  We asked them to call before coming.  Are repair time was 8-noon.  My husband called them at 12:05, and they didn't know what was going and was supposed to call back.  He called back at 1:30 and was told they called at 8:15 am and there was no answer.  Which they didn't call.  So they went on to the next service call.  I called and they told me he was there and he left a note, guess what there was no note.  I called the service we originally scheduled with, they called A & E and A&E told them that we called and cancelled because we bought a new washing machine.

    A&E came out to my house after I had smelled as coming from stove.  They checked it out and said it was a line leak and that WPS would have to replace the line - they could not deal with gas.  WPS guy comes out and finds no leak in actual gas line but finds 3 small leaks - one on flex tubing to stove and 2 within parts on the stove.  Guess A&E missed that - charged me $136.00 for that effort.

    We had service scheduled for 6-8-12 to fix our GE washer between Noon & 5.  Around 4:45 I called and was told the tech was on his way.  I called again at 5:30 & was told the tech would not be coming because of an emergency.  I was also told they couldn't get back out until 6-27-12.  I had already waited 2 wks for the first appt.  I explained I had family coming on 6-13-12 w/ 3 children & could not be without my washer.  They didn't care at all.  I asked to speak to a manager.  She told me she was contacting the local manager to see if they could get here sooner & would call me back & that she was making note of all this in the system.  No one ever called back.  I called this morning (6-11-12) to see what was going on.  There was no record of the conversation I had w/ the manager in their system and the person I was talking to didn't have any idea who this manager was that I was talking to.  They don't give a crap about customer service or the fact that most people have to miss work to sit around and wait for someone to show up...or in this case...not show up.
