Yes this Company Loan mediation Inc keeps calling my work and saying I owe on 2 cash loans back in 2010 and they were going to serve me with papers and I would be charge with a felony I bankrupt in 2010 and if I did owe on them would I be charge with a felony.

    Profile is consistent with US based fraudulent "debt collection" shakedown rackets.

    Translation:  Among these scams, "mediation" is supposed to sound lke they can "sue" or "prosecute", while stopping just short of pretending to be "attorneys".  Usng "weazel words" to make threats they can deny making means they have some very slight fear of getting caught, hence US based.  For the same reason, they threaten only by phone, never send anything by US Mail, and hide their location as best they can.  Catching them lying and making illegal threats means, well, they're lawbreaking liars.

    They use illegal threats and lies because that's all they can do.  Something is wrong with this "debt", like it's fake, maybe they just got your name from online payday loan application information, maybe it's illegal due to an unlicensed payday lender, or it's been trumped up way beyond anything owed, or already discharged or dischargeable through your bankruptcy.  They want you to "volunteer" giving them your money, and if you fall for it, there's a bunch of other creeps in line ready to try their hand at conning you, too.

    Scam style sounds like "Buffalo".

    I just received for the second time a call from loan mediation inc. They will not send me the initial loan on what is supposed to be alleged loan I took out, everytime I call the name of loans places changes and changing the loan amounts, I have contacted social security, I am in the process of contacting federal trade commission and also the attorney general's office in my state as well as the state that these fraudulent places are harrassing innocent victims, as well they have all my information like my ssc number my address, my license number because i tried to submit for payday loans on line, so they are frauds...and if i am correct more than likely they probably look at these blogs just to see what is going on....but I would still go that route, unfortunately they have our information, I also called my bank and I have never received any funds from any of these payday loans on which dates that they are indicating so, they cannot take you put you in jail for anything.....so i would follow those steps.

      you are so correct, they have ALL my information, so I did exactly as you did and contacted the local law enforcement, government agencies and major credit agencies.  They keep calling and I will continue to laugh in their ears.

    They accused me of owing money on a Payday Loan that I never got.  They threatened to subpoena me to court.  At the time of the threatening calls I was preparing to move from CA to WA State.  The threat of taking me to court really scared me, especially since I was moving out of State and would have to travel back to CA if they really did subpoena me.  They were so intimidating and I was just trying to survive an out of State move, I just wanted them to go away and leave me alone.  I actually paid their settlement offer, got email receipts, etc.  I suppose that money that I paid them is gone forever, or does anyone know of how I could be repaid?  I filed a complaint with the BBB, it was open for months.  They attempted to several times to resolve the complaint with Loan Mediation, Inc., but the company never replied, so the BBB finally closed the complaint.  Any ideas?

    I got a phone call from CAQ Mediation the guy told me I had outstanding loans from 2011 and  2009 gave me an amount of over $4000 to pay  I asked if he send me documents pertaining these loans he said he could NOT send me anything I told my current situation he replied I can knock some of the amount off if you can pay $1520 in full and I will STOP further legal actions against you I told him that I did pay the loans in full cause I was contacted by legal and they were able to send me documents of what I requested to make sure it was NOT a scam however this guy keeps telling me he is unable to send me anything he read my PO BOX to me and said documentation was send to me I told him I don't keep mail for long periods of time I burn or shred them. I asked if he was the only person that works in this department he said there were others and his supervisor strange thing is I didn't hear talking or phone's ringing in the background he told that the $1520 had to be paid in full I stated if your are with a mediation department aren't you suppose to work with payments with the customers some situations are different where customers are NOT able to pay the amount in full he said I cant do that and stated that if I wanted to make payments I would have to pay over $4000 and he could NOT do payments for the $1520 I been asking for him to send me documents he stills says he cant do that. I'm worried and scared I was able to call the legal dept where I made payments to they sent me a paid in full letter the guy from CAQ told me that it had to have the exact account number I asked him where do I send this document he told me to call back and he will give me instructions on what to do my gut tells me something is wrong with this cause he cant provide me with documents and isn't willing to work with me I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO I even went online and CAQ Mediation does NOT pull up any info. Any suggestions anyone
