I January I applied to have NTL installed at my home. Virgin Media said they have no problems in the area and the cable will be installed quickly. I took a day off work to have the installation done. They could not do it in one day so I had to take another day off work. At the end of the day they told me they need more time to install because of some problems in the area.

This was unacceptable and I canceled the contract with them. In three weeks I started getting bills, and now it seems they are about to send my "canceled" account to collections.

When I call them, it rings for ages - someone may answer, probably in India, and I cannot understand what they are saying. They then transfer me to another department and I hold on an hour. Absolutely horrible!

    I am glad to see that I am not the only one - i cancelled my account two months ago and they STILL keep taking money out of my account. I am now waiting for a refund however don't think I will see it in a hurry.

    Just finally got my phone line installed. It has taken 4 months!! Just got off the phone to some useless T**t in customer services....again. I have asked them to credit me the 4 months line rental fee. A week ago I was told that being credited the line rental fees could only happen on their system once the line was up and running. They are now only refunding me 1 month. To add insult to injury my last months bill has £5.81 of phone calls. How can this be when infact I did not have a line. Surely this is criminal activity. I refuse to accept that it's a system error. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can take this useless company up infront of some sort of council or jury. Their behaviour and accounting system and customer service is so wrong, so poor and such a disgrace. I hate them.

    THIS WAS DONE BECAUSE VIRGIN MEDIA HAD CORRUPTLY TRIED TO MAKE MONEY OUT OF ME BY PROVIDING THE WRONG PACKAGE REQUESTED IT GETS FROM BAD TO WORSEWITH VIRGIN IVE GOT DEBT COLLECTORS NOW HAMMERING MY DOOR ON VIRGINS BEHALF FOR MONEY I DO NOT OWE BUT VIRGIN MEDIA ARE PART OF THE CORRUPT ORGANISATION KNOWN AS COMMON PURPOSE SEE WWW.DWPCORRUPTION.CO.UK FOR MORE DETAILS .
