I went to an Arby’s in March of 2007 and ordered a chicken salad. I went to school and started studying for a test and opened my salad. No chicken. The next time I went through their drive-thru I asked to see the manager and told (Amy) about my last visit and they need to do a better job.

This must have pressed a button with Amy because she insinuated I was trying to get free food even though I had already paid for my current order. She and I discussed the difficulties of management when she said she wasn’t a manager, she was a "team leader". I said I asked to speak to a manager, hoping to find somebody in responsibility, and she said they don’t have a manager and she was the person in charge. I said, "that’s terrible. You get manager headaches and I bet they don’t pay you any more than the rest of the crew." She responded with, "That’s very rude, you can just wait on your food." And shut the drive-thru door and then she got on her phone (I assume to the cops).

So I sat there and waited until somebody else came through the drive-thru. Then they gave me my food. Amy was still in a huff when I told her I was going to complain about her specifically. "Go for it!" she yelled out the window as I slowly pulled away.

Since filing my complaint I have made numerous attempts to speak with someone, anyone from Arby’s about their rude and abusive treatment toward customers and I won’t be happy with an apology, even if they bother to offer one. All I have gotten in return is a form letter asking if my complaint was handled to my satisfaction. I was NEVER contacted any other way. Needless to say, I won’t go to that Arby’s anymore (not for any reason except that their personnel are terrible) and I tell my story to whoever will listen. If I were a litigious person I would see what a lawsuit might bring, but then I wouldn’t be able to gripe about this event. Still, I think Arby’s should do something for a customer that only wanted their service to improve.

After reading these comments I am amazed at some of the ignorant statements made! I recently bought a sandwich from Arby's and almost choked to death because there were MACHINE PARTS in my sandwich and became lodged in my throat! I was at home alone, my kidneys released and I had to be Heimliched 3 times. A huge amount of food along with the Machine pieces came out of my mouth and I swallowed several. I am not a SUE HAPPY person, but I am a single Mother and my daughter could have walked in on her dead mother and been left without a Mother to raise her. So to those of you that think people don't have a right to complain, be in my shoes! I am having night terrors and have to start counseling to get through this and all I wanted was to eat out!

I got a sandwich yesterday with coper wires in it. Trying to get some response from Arby's to investigate that particular Arby's to make sure some little kid or elderly person doesn't get hurt or choke to death. Haven't got a response.  This is serious!! If I can't get a response that they are checking on it I have to call police or go to news media to get it done.

You can't believe how our store manages! Any complaint you file on the phone or online shows up on our computer the next business day. From the training manual: is to find a way to make it right and every time our store makes it right.  In the survey's via phone or online you have this option to be contacted by the store and then you mark No? How in the hell are we supposed to do anything with your complaint?  You give us a poor review and yet you insist on not leaving comments. I just don't get it.  People complain and complain and don't want to be contacted? Are customers not being truthful? You really don't want something free?  We also got rid of the free sandwich on the survey's.  Arby's has lost A TON of money because of it.  I blame the economy that needs help STILL.  People would come in and give us the receipt with the 4 digits on it.  Guess what? We keep track of what we give out for free FYI.   Thank the people who didn't do survey's and got free sandwiches!  Yes this is a total biased opinion.  Arby's has been doing several market tests in different areas of the country to be a better company.  If you have a complaint, notify the store ASAP.  If you wait even past a day to complain, your integrity and or complaint has no effect nor meaning behind it.  Sorry, I'm trained to believe your right, but your intentions...questionable.

I was very disappointed in the Rueben Sandwich.  It was a chunk of meat with little sauerkraut and swiss cheese.   I thought the meat should have been shredded and not hard to eat.

Went to Arby's last night for their 2 for 5.00. Special.  The one on Osage street in Amarillo .  The poor little girl could  not get the order for 2 sandwiches straight , so I finally just ordered two regular .  Paid 10.00 for them. One was great . The second had 1 piece meat and cheese .  It was on smashed bread. Really bad and no receipt in our bag.  Will go elsewhere.
