The Warranty renewal stuff is pure crap. I am a 65-year-old white male who has never, repeat operative word here, NEVER owned a car. Calls from these people are ludicrous. It's nothing more than some group of greedy scammers. They buy phone lists, address lists and God, Himself, only knows what else to do ramdon mailings to anyone in the country.

I've been disconnected several times when I finally did reach a phone person. As soon as I even started to state my complaint I would be disconnected. Now I'm getting the stupid postcards. I know, I know, it's the Internet, no censorship, no control, but there should be some way to be able to discontinue, disconnect, or otherwise free a private citizen from this kind of harassment.

Their calls and postcards are deceptive, designed to panic people into paying hundreds to a couple thousand dollars to supposedly keep their auto warranty from expiring, when these companies aren't even connected with an original manufacturer, and often have a very poor record of paying off claims.  Basically a scam, most effective at defrauding old people.

A bunch of them are located in Missouri, and were recently sued by the Missouri Attorney General.  If your complaint is about one of them, contact him.
