was billed $35.62 from merchsale.org from my debit account on behalf of a company called 12x movies that i never even heard of... they are currently refunding the money... but we will see...if i have to , i will call clark howard and put the word out.

    If you don't get your money back promptly, dispute the fraudulent charge with your bank.  You would be wise to close that account as well, since whether you are dealing with a shady payment processor, or whether someone got hold of your account number and is making fraudulent charges against it, your account number is now compromised and in the hands of thieves.

    From a Google search, the "12x movies" appears to be some on-line seller of porn movies.  That is not surprising in connection with fraudulent charges, but it also is some indication of the type of businesses "merchsale.org" processes payments for.  You would be wise to ensure your account information is of no further value to either, since there have been past cases of these sorts of shady businesses adding to their income with fabricated fraudulent charges.
