I receive calls several times a day on my home phone and my cell phone telling me I am responsible for the Davis account. I do not know any Davis or Scholastic. I have called and asked for them to not call me any more several times but it does no good. These are automated calls. The number where the calls come from on my caller ID is 1 866 526 7804.

I found out who is making the calls , but after asking them to stop several times the calls just keep on coming. They use an auto dialer and a recording. They call several times a day. They say they would be glad to help you and will assign you an account number?? I don't want anything to do with them....

I too had a problem with Scholastic.  I bought a set of books for over $60 to use at home with my daughter and also in the classroom.  However, one of the books was missing.  I looked on line the book alone was a little over $2.  I contacted Scholastic and they basically told me it was my problem.  I turned to the BBB and after over three months Scholastic NEVER
responded to them either.  The school where I teach is now looking for a different book store to order from.  Just over a couple of dollars.  Who would have guessed the company who states education is their #1 priority would make such a gesture to a mother, who is also a teacher!  Good Luck getting their attention!

I bought one book at an elementary school book fair and after a few days I see that I got charged almost 3 times the $ amount on the credit card.
Called to the financial customer service and they tell me I bought books at the book fair and that I was charged correctly. I've got the ticket to prove otherwise, but they still say they charged correctly. The customer service even states that I bought for the charged amount and I shouldn't complain!
After replying again that I've got prove (the ticket) the customer service just say they'll try to look into this and it will take at least a week before they will contact me because it's my mistake!
Yeah, it was my mistake alright.... never will buy from them again!

I bought the book Catching Fire online and as I was reading it I noticed that the page is missing a couple of lines. I don't know if it is a typo or if the book actually is missing lines, but it looks like this:

President Snow goes on to tell us what happened in the previous Quarter Quells. "On the twenty-fifth anniversary, as a reminder to the rebels that their children were dying because of their choice to initiate violence, e very district was made to hold an election and vote on the tributes who would represent it."

who had to go. It is worse........

I was wondering if that is on every copy or maybe just mine? If this is something that Scholastic can't do anything about it then who can I call to report this problem?! THANKS!
