I orderd an id after doing a bit of research and readding review on HOW-I-D.com and other ID review sites. They seemed to be for real. But now after I have sent them my money and they have received it, I can't get them to return my emails or send me what I paid for.
I have a condirmation of payment delivery and have not yet received the ID. I placed my order on 2/3/12. Has anyone had problem with this site? I even paid for express shipping.

What were you expecting?
That someone takes your money anonymously through the internet and sends you an imitation of a government issue drivers license?
Why would you expect to send money into a black hole, to get an "id", and not lose it?
They don't even have to fear the authorities will go after them, as long as they DON'T send back fake ids. They can expect that you will either be to embarassed or ashamed to report them, or that the authorities will just chuckle and tell you that getting fake ids is a crime and you are lucky you weren't caught with one.
Second, I was asking for advice not a lecture as if I was a child (way passed my 30s).
Third, I was only wantting to make sure that other people who are thinking of dealing with this how-i-d, DON'T.
HOW- I-D.com is a scam
Think about your response before judging other people and their reasons for doing something.
I do recognize how likely frauds and scams are structured, however, and the key requirements are
1) a lure to get you to bite and disclose payment information, and
2) a way to hang on to your money and keep it.
A lure can be anything, as promises are cheap. Anything can look real on a website.
Hanging on can be as simple as the annonymity of the internet, combined with a few mail drops, shell corps, laundering through an overseas account, or whatever makes it more trouble than it is worth to get your money back.
These sites may post that they are selling some "novelty id", but you better realize that is just a euphemism for what could be either a fraudulent id seller, or could turn out to be a scammer like this who just takes and keeps your money. "Express delivery" is just a bonus.
Fraudulent id sellers aren't going to advertize themselves as such, nor are thieves intending to just steal your money.
You are "shopping" in a "bad part of town", and you do so at your own risk. Checking reviews will not protect you, as you are entering an area where fraud is rampant, including fraudulent reviews.
If they have any of your card or account information, immediately contact your bank to close the account or block the card number, as you don't want active account information in the hands of a thief.
