I purchased an England Furniture Sofa on Dec 19th.  Already the fabric on the cushions is splitting in several places. Obviously the fabric is really poor (although it seems ok in the store).  Now we are stuck in a cycle of replacing cushions over and over again.  The attached back cushions are also starting to have issues.  I wish I would have done some research before I bought this POS. I relied on it being part of Lazboy.  England Furniture does not list contact information (phone) on their website, I did some research and got a phone number 423 626 5211 and have left messages with Bill Woods (I believe that this is a dummy voice mailbox that no one ever listens to - at least no one calls back). It appears that there is a history of this company selling poor quality products, hopefully posting this will help someone else making the same mistake I made.

    We have been playing phone/email tag with Philip for almost a year now.  We got a quote for a local upholsterer to recover the chaise, which my husband emailed.  We never heard back.  Since our fabric is no longer carried, we have found comparable fabric on your website that would still co-ordinate with the other pieces of the set.  How do we go about rectifying this, since we will be moving soon, buying new furniture, and probably not even considering an England piece.

    Too Bad this is only a complaint site  -  people see all the bad  never the good.  I have owned an England Leather sectional for 7 years.  It is GREAT.  No issues ever.  I am actually giving it to a family member and buying another...

    YES I AM WRITING THIS TO FIND OUT WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY SOFA THAT I PURCHASED AT A LOCAL FURNITURE STORE IN MY TOWN.  I HAVE HAD THE SOFA FOR ABOUT 5 MONTHS AND I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE MATERIAL IT IS PILLING AND LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BEEN ON THE COUCH FOR A LONG TIME.  SHOULD I CONTACT THE STORE FIRST OR JUST GO STRAIGHT TO THE MANUFACTURER TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.  I PAID OVER 1000 DOLLARS FOR THIS SOFA HOPING IT WOULD LAST FOR A LONE TIME.  I AM THE ONLY ONE SITTING ON THE SOFA AND I FEEL IT SHOULD NOT BE DOING THIS.

    Bought a sofa 3 yrs ago cushions started to wear thin with end 1 yr. thought it was from lots of use but now i see there are problems with all the fabric. should have researched the england more. would like to know how to buy cushions to replace the old ones not even going to try to replace at store.

    Do you have replacement sofa cushion covers for purchase?  My couch is in great condition, but my pets have ruined the cushion covers with their claws.

    Please people, do NOT purchase any of England furniture.  Here is my story:  I bought a gorgeous sectional for $2,400.00 and it was delivered on December 2, 2014, loved it!  December 23 I found a rip in a cushion, called the store where I made purchase, sending me a new one, no problem.  The next day, I was vacuuming sofa (I have a dog and 2 cats) and noticed that the fabric was pilling, but when I would take the "pills" off, the fabric would come up as well.  That is when I noticed the whole arm and back and seat cushion fabric was all coming up as if we've had the sofa for years, not only a mere 22 days!!!!!!  Called the store and wanted to return it due to the lack of quality fabric, NOPE!  So they were going to call England to send a tech out to review the sofa, but instead, listen to this, they took the couch BACK to manufacturer to see IF they could do anything!!!!  They came to pick it up Jan 18, 2015 and we're going to have it for a MONTH AND just to see if they were going to resolve the fabric issue!!  The store called and said they were going to replace the fabric because the other was a "bad batch of fabric".  I just got it back today, April 9, 2015 and they didn't replace all of the fabric, there are still a TON of pills!!!!!  I am so disappointed and angry.  If my post changes the mind of just ONE customer who is thinking of purchasing an England product, I will be happy.....

    I bought the England Oakland reclining sectional with a sofa bed in the Fairview merlot fabric in 2002 and it is just starting to show its age , We used it everyday and every one who sat on it commented on how comfortable it was even had a house guest sleeping in it for a while.  I had the fabric cleaned by Stanley Steamer every couple of years with the carpet and it always came out great but make sure you raise the sofa when you get the carpet cleaned because the wood stain feet will bleed. We moved to a smaller place and gave it to my sister so now I am looking for a sofa and chair set I am wondering if England is still building them like this one .Maybe I just got lucky
