This mornning I turned on my Sears Kenmore microwave oven; it emitted a cloud of smoke and stopped working. I called Sears and asked to speak with someone in its executive offices. I was told that the rep doesn't have that number, yet I found it on the Internet. When I called, I was put on hold for a long time, so hung hp.

Purchased a microwave over the range with vent about 10 months ago, the unit dose not vent very well, you get steam and water all over the front of it. Contacted Whirlpool and a service call is 129.00 if nothing is wrong with the unit. It has been installed right, Who do I contact because the unit dose not do what its advertised to do. Model# wmh3205xvs1 serial# tr10110262 Will have to battle whirlpool, becase I dont plan on paying for service call. John Clark 845-345-1251 Clarhard@optonline.net

Re:  Sears over range microwave Model 721-81043.  Purchased March 2009 and installed June 2009.  A few months later I noticed that door was not properly factory installed and while under warranty had  Sears repairman replace door.  Here it is February 2011, 2 years later, and the handle broke off.  The microwave is no longer under warranty and I attempted to get parts to fix it ourselves but now I'm told it's too dangerous to fix microwaves.  Why was such a shoddy product allowed to be sold?  Is this why Sears has had to close so many of its stores?  I purposely bought a Kenmore because of its prior great reputation; I had Kenmore appliances that lasted for 15 to 20 years.  What can Sears do for me now.  If I don't hear from you, I will replace with another better brand and write a negative review.  I can be contacted at waltdee1@charter.net.
