"Rating: 0 Grace - 24 Jul 2007 Okay, I called PAETEC, the carrier of this company at 800.978.7532 and their customer service told me that they their client is a telemarketing firm and that they would ask my number to be removed. They said the calls should stop by tomorrow. I will followup in a week if to let you guys know if I've receieved any calls.
At this point, I am relieved that they are not (I don't think) identity thieves, just scammers.. they can only do damage if you give them your SSN or Credit Card SO DON'T!
AGAIN. CALL PAETEC AT 800.978.7532 TO UNLIST! HOPE IT WORKS!! (I also sent a not-so-friendly email to PAETEC, so hopefully something transpires out of this) Best of luck to you all! Caller Type: Telemarketer"
"Matt - 3 Jun 2007 I received a call from this number and a person on the line claimed to be from "University and College Finder". Earlier in the day I received a call from the same number only that time i was hung up on. Also, when I tried to return the call I got a recording saying that the number was not in service or disconnected."
"C C - 12 Jun 2007 I started to sign up for an online offer for baby formula. When i realized there were a whole bunch of other "offers" available i quit the process. Within 1/2 hour i started getting these calls from 954-905-4135 asking if i was interested in education options. I told them to take me off the list. I keep getting calls every few hours. I have told them to remove me from their list."
"Christina - 12 Jun 2007 I was on the internet the other day and I was trying to get some free things but they started asking me if I was interested in other offers and when they kept asking if I was interested in these offers I quit and since then I am getting phone calls from this number. I also checked my e-mail the next day and it was saying that I requested info on education, shortly after I started recieving phone calls from this number. So I think that they are calling regarding that "education offer" I don't really know for sure though because they don't ever answer when I pick up."
"Rating: 0 Jenn - 26 Mar 2007 My son received a call from this number today and I answered it. It seems it is a scam to give you a vacation at very low prices. Where they are getting young kids cell phone numbers, I have no idea, but I expressed that the kid was only 14 and they said they were removing the number from the list. Caller Type: Telemarketer"
"Alex - 4 Apr 2007 I got 4 calls in one day: the first phone call was the number ending in 4134, the last three ending in 4135. They kept calling me and asking me if I wanted to "further my education" and that they were "following up on some information I requested online"... well I definitely never requested any information. On the third phone call I told them that they've called me three times now and every time I told them no, so stop calling... the guy answered with "my apologies" and I hung up. They ended up calling a fourth time so I had my boyfriend answer and when he said hello, they hung up immediately. Caller ID: 954-905-4135 or 954-905-4134"

These people keep calling from both numbers, 954-905-4135 and 954-905-4134. This is a private line that I PAY for.Why are they even calling??? It is total harrassment. Again, it is total HARRASSMENT! Since I obviously can't do anything else, all I can say is the next time they call they need to be ready because the noise on this end won't be inviting!!!

Those numbers also come up from Iraqi phone cards, that number comes up when my husband calls from Iraq depending on the phone card he is using...Sometimes they cant get through though.. so if any one has relatives or friends in Iraq that might be it

I keep getting those calls... I called 800.978.7532 which happened to be the tech support. But they gave me the number to the help desk which is 877-340-2600. They said that they were going to shoot an email to that company to take my number off the list. They didn't give me the company name. They (PAETEC) told me that I should stop getting calls within the next 24hrs. Let's see!!!

I get about 5 calls a day from this number!!! I have gone so far as blowing a very loud whistle into the phone. That didn't even work. They call and say NOTHING!! Now I start telling them about Jesus and they hang up. Maybe I can use the time to witness~~~ : )

Someone from this number keeps calling. They were hanging up without saying anything at first and then they finally said something by asking for my husband. When I asked who was calling before giving him the phone they hung up.

I have received a phone call from this # today also. Nest time it calls I am going to push the # key over and over again very quickly I have heard that it confuses the computer dialing your phone# and removes it from the system. I am not sure if it works cause I don't get phone calls from computers. Now the trick is to get to the phone before my children do. I will let everyone know if it works or not.

O.K. people. This is a computer generated program operating off of a legitimate Sur-number. Through using call-forwarding service as most of us do, your return attempt is intercepted and directed to a 'dead-line' within their system. Thus the d/c message. This ploy is used by many telemarketing companies in order to locate 'curious prospects'. So, the best thing anyone can do is to NOT PICK UP THE PHONE!! After awhile the system will acknowlege numerous unsucessful inquiries and delete your file. Simple enough.

Once. Someone answered, and it was a scholarship service deal. I had input my number into a scholarship signup, and that's when I began getting calls from 954-905-4135 and 954-905-4134

Last but not least... the fastest way to get your number removed from a dialing computer... if you can get a recording of the 3 note tone that plays just before the "we're sorry the number....." when you dial a disconnected number and add that to your answering machine before your outgoing message it will make the dialing computer believe the your number has been disconnected. Most dialing systems remove your number automatically once it "hears" that tone.
