I got a call from this number 253-777-0535.  Since I am the owner of our business I ask what this was about.  They go right to thier script.  They want to collect your bad debts, bad checks, any outstanding balance.  I told them I have been in collections most of my life and I don't have past due accounts.  So they hung up on me.  They again called at lunch time.  I told the lady that called that someone had already called earlier.  She made some smart remark and I hung up on her. So she immediately called back.  I picked up the phone and hung right up with out answereing.  She called a 3rd time.  When I picked up the phone she went right into her speach.  I had to interupt her and tell her that I was an old collector and I was not interested and I hung up.  It's been about an hour or so now.  But we will see.  I went on another websight and someone in there is trying to track them down.  I will pass along any information I get.

    They just called me.  I told them about a civil judgment I had against someone.  When I wouldn't sign up with them immediately over the phone they called me a liar and then the man told me to, "Go suck a double nut."  Great customer service!!

    They have called my office for the past 2 days asking for an employee when I say the employee is not in the office and ask to take a message, the jerk has said
    1. I am going to [***] you in the [***]
    2. Tell them you like [***]
    3.Is she there or isnt she [***]

    I have called the police to make a complaint.

    As an employer you have a responsibility to maintain a safe work environment, so take appropriate action.  There is no reason to tolerate this.

    Do Not Call protection is weak for businesses, but this crosses over into a criminal misdemeanor against both you and your employees.  Record their calls, and tell them every time they call that you are recording their call.  Unless they are really stupid, they should get that you are basically collecting evidence that could nail them individually.  

    Bring their their obscene phone calls to the attention of appropriate authorities, by filing complaints with your state AG, their state AG, the District Attorney where they are located, FTC, FCC, and BBB.  253 area code appears to be the Tacoma WA region.  

    In addition, contact your phone company, report that you have been receiving obscene phone calls from this number, and ask that they find out the phone company providing their service to assist you with your complaint.  Getting a copy of your police report may help.  File a complaint with their phone company.

    I had some experience in collections calling me so when they first started calling i decided to do some research .I called a collection agency to ask what the procesure was in collecting a debt .Not at all what the jerk on the phone was tring to do so the collection agency had me ask him certain things that they would ask and he choked he couldnt answer them .That was a year ago and there back i just got a 3rd letter today .To make a long story short i fought back the first time and now i have to do it again.Now that i know im not the only one im calling channel 12 news.
