Here's what I left on ComplaintWire.org's web-site. . .

Well those are bad, but the call I got from (818)-663-9472, traces to a cell-phone co. out of Sherman Oaks, CA.  Apparently the company that "owns" that phone # is Digitcom Services, Inc.

What pisses me off is that they called US asking if we wanted to lower the interest rate on our Credit Card(s).  My wife stated that we are already ON the National No-Call List & asked to speak with his supervisor.

My wife asked his name (& get this. . .) "Michael Landry", stated "Oh that was some other Phone #".  When she asked to speak to his Supervisor, he transferred over to perhaps a colleague?  His so-called Supe picked-up (by the name of "Robert Blake") & HE asked what kind of underwear my Wife was wearing SEVERAL TIMES before the little [***] disconnected her!

NOW - she & I BOTH work in respectable call centers & are called Customer Service Representatives.  You call us with a problem, we FIX it, professionally & respectfully.  We want these "boys" reported & fired if nothing else. . .

In fact, I'm taking this one as far up as I can go - - hell if you all want on board, I'd like to get a Class-Action Suit brought up against them.  These companies & their vile ways of conducting business have got to be DEALT WITH.

CONTACT THE F.C.C. & MAYBE YOUR ATTORNEY'S GENERAL, THIS IS ILLEGAL!

Let me know if you've heard anything as dispicable:   -LEO1WOLF@MSN.COM

They appear to be some telemarketing call center in Florida.  They are trying to appear to be associated with one of your credit card companies.

They have been engaged in this operation for years.  Try looking up "Heather from Account Services", which appears to be the same call center.

    http://phonespam.blogspot.com/2007/12/dec-7-r ... om-heather.html

They have numerous complaints of Do Not Call violations, and deceptive telemarketing.  Complaints include deceptive claims that they are somehow associated with your credit card company, although they are only guessing who that is.  They appear to be phishing for credit card information that they use to make charges of about $800 for their "services".

They are also reported to use illegal threats and deceptive claims to have some "verbal contract" should people agree to look at their "contract information" and then try to back out of agreeing to pay them.

Hang up if they threaten you.  Do not believe their threats, any claims to have a "verbal contract", or a recording of your "agreement".  These are common fraudulent telemarketing tactics.

If you find unauthorized charges on your accounts, dispute all unauthorized or fraudulent charges through your bank, and close your account due to fraud to prevent additional fraudulent charges.

File complaints with FTC, your state Attorney General, and the Florida Attorney General.

I HAVE HAD SAME PROBLEM...They call here often I am very polite. Each time I ask their name and ask to be on their "do not call" list, they hang up on me!  Yesterday when it happened I then dialed the # on my CALLER ID (which by the way said WIRELESS which is why I picked up the phone in the first place) which was 619-664-5916, the message said it was not taking calls....

It's a Bait & Switch operation. I asked clearly and up front if this was a Credit Card Rate Reduction by transferring your balance to another card... The answer was an emphatic "no". They promised to lower my rate on my existing card and secure a savings of $2500.00 and have my rate lowered in 1 to 2 billing cycles. I was sold by Christine Diaz, Agent ID # 0208 at "Card Services" or "CardMember Services, the company that processes all of your Credit Card bills" as she restated when I asked again what company was calling me.

A second company, ProActive Planning Solutions" called to confirm the transaction. After I agreed to the "one-time processing fee" of $595.00 for the rate reduction service, I had to call 4 times to get a counselor on the phone after I received my "package" in the mail ( a Financial Credit Repair Kit which I didn't know I was buying) When they finally gave me an appointment time, they didnt call when they scheduled it and I had to call them again. Finally I got a "counselor" on the phone.

Ronnie Shank, the "counselor" told me that Chase was not doing any rate reductions right now but he could transfer my balance to a Citi Card with a 0% rate. I suggested I already knew I could do that and got offers regularly in the mail to do that. He said that if I wasn't willing to do that they they could do Debt Reduction Negotiation and Consolidation, but I indicated to him that would affect my Credit and he agreed it would. I was told in the Sales Process by Christine Diaz that this was not anything that would affect my credit rating. Ronnie said he could refer me back over to Customer Service and have them call me right back. They did not call. I had to call them, spoke to Gina Thompson.. chased the chain up to the Customer Service manager, Amy Verhoff, I believe, who told me I was unwilling to take their counseling advise and therefore was not eligible for a refund. She played back the audio recording which they do not discuss how they lower your rate, but that it would simply be done in 1-2 billing cycles. She indicated that because I was not willing to take their counseling service I was not eligible for a refund. I asked for her boss' name and she indicated she did not have one.. so when I asked if she was the owner she said she was not but that she was hired by the owner to handle all customer service claims for him. I asked who the owner was and she said she did not know. I indicated that she just referred to her boss as "him" but noted it was interesting that she didn't know his name. She said I could find his name on their website which is conveniently "Under Construction", by the way.
Contacted Visa and disputed the charge and the company, Pro Active Planning Solutions and they refunded my charge once I told him about the sham.

If you are an employee of this company, you really need to question your ethics and morals... This is not a good, reputable company. Surely you can find another job that lets you sleep better at night and keep a clear conscience. Similar to your company's tag line of "All you have to lose is a High Interest rate" ... All you have to lose is a bad job!

I got a call from Credit Card services and told them I was busy but interested and asked for a number to call them back when I was free. I have been flooding them with calls all day. Their number is 800-218-8787, Dont forget to dial *67 first to block your number from their caller id. Give them a taste of their own medicine. I cost them money every time their 800 number is called.

You are probably calling an innocent third party's number. They won't give you a valid one because then they get reported to the FCC for a Do Not Call violation.

The thing to do is to waste as much of their time as possible without wasting yours. Pretend interest, and tell them you have to go get your credit card. After you have wasted as much of their time as possible, tell them you did it and, if they don't want it to happen again, to never call you again.

The "eat up their time" tactic doesn't seem to be working for me.  I have had several of them on the phone for over 15 minutes, and even after explaining at the end that I was wasting their time, I only get a month or so before they start calling again.   That's not unexpected, I guess since I imagine "they" aren't all that bright to begin with.
I have *LOTS* of FTC complaints filed, and my next step is to complain to my State Attorney General.   I get the feeling there is a HUGE class-action lawsuit in their near future.

Until then, I'll keep my air horn handy.  You know.... The REALLY obnoxiously loud ones people bring to sporting events?   I wonder how many of them need to hear THAT in their ear before they stop calling?

The [***] are calling 3 times a day with false caller ID.  I tried the 800 number that Larry gave but it says all circuits are busy.

I've received numerous calls from this bunch for months. Usually when I ask them to identify themselves they hang up but their call today they told me they were the Visa credit card company. Law Enforcement needs to get after them for fraud.

Don't know if you know it but *67 does not block your number to 800 numbers. Your number still appears.

I too have received hundreds of calls from this company, almost every day, over the previous 2-3 years.  Nothing I did, including asking to be placed on their no call list, fileing complaints with State and Federal governments, and hanging up on them worked.
I then hit upon the ultimate answer which has now resulted in NO calls from them for over three weeks. I simply blew it. I presses 1 to speak to an operator and as soon as they answered I yelled Stop F-----G Calling Me Dont F-----G Call Me.  Before I finished the line went dead.  I did this same thing two more times and I have not received a single call from them.
I am not proud of this action but it worked for me and that's all that counts.   Good Luck.

I too have the same problem with these "credit" Card member services people calling. After being hung up on after pressing one and politely asking to "remove my ....click - they hang up.
This time I immediately and fastly said remove this number NOW. The reply was shut up [***]. I just hung up...well I might have said something like yall are LOSERS first.

I hate card services replies to Sick N Tired
I wonder, based on some of the comments about foul language, suggestive remarks, etc. if some of these representatives are borderline people (mentally ill unemployable people, people just out of jail, people on probation) working at home for just an hourly pay, or per call. Hard to believe people in an actual office or call center would speak like that.

I am just going to waste their time from now on. I had 14 calls from them I was saving on my answering machine, since I had filed a complaint with the FTC. Then I lost my electricity due to the hurricane and lost the calls. But I now have 8 more I have received in just the last week. When they call now, I will just tell them I have to get my credit card to give them the number and just leave the phone down till they get tired of holding and disconnect.

They deserve whatever verbal abuse (short of physical threats, that's illegal) you give them, but then they just hang up.

If you call 800-218-8787 and press zero when they ask for an extension number, you get a recorded message that at the end says press "2" to be added to their internal do not call list.

I'm keeping my fingers this works, since I have gotten calls two days in a row!

I wish.  As soon as I did this I received another call from them within 2 hours.
