No English commentary on either Channel

It is surprising and saddening that both channels, Sony Max and Sony Six, telecasting the IPL in 2016, have resorted to commentary only in Hindi, despite the fact that a large portion of the viewers in India do not understand Hindi very well. The only difference between both channels is that one displays match stats in Hindi, while the other in English. When such is the case, why does the commentary have to be in the same language in both? It doesn't make sense to have a dedicated channel for one language, but use another to communicate! There are splashes of english commentary in between, but is that enough?
I dont believe that IPL would have completely stopped English commentary, given the fact that they have a galaxy of noteworthy and seasoned english commentators available.
Agreed there may be a huge Hindi audience, but where should the non Hindi speaking public turn to? We can't be expected to watch the match in mute mode. It is off-putting, especially considering the Hindi commentary involves certain individuals screaming at the top of their voice, providing next to no useful information about the any particular shot or wicket that caused them to scream in the first place. Their overwhelming usage of proverbs and idioms may appear witty and entertaining to the Hindi speaking audience, but not to the others.
Does the IPL intend to cater to only a particular audience? Does it consider non Hindi speaking public unimportant? Does it want to completely erase english from its repertoire? Does it intend to pander to the notion as spread by certain elements, that a particular language should alone be favoured because it is supposedly "better" than others? I hope all of the the above are answered in the negative.
I request the channels, as an IPL fan, to address this issue at the earliest, lest the channels and IPL want to reduce viewership and fans this season, leading to loss in TRP and trust amongst its fanbase over the long term. This might cause damage to the IPL brand that cannot be undone.
