I used to work for this company.  Trust me, chewing out the person calling you won't do any good.  If you have a problem with the calls, go to the company who hired Maritz.  I can't legally talk about the different projects, but Maritz is hired by companies you use to do these surveys.  These companies give Maritz all the information they have.  Maritz does not share this information with anyone.  The person calling you has no power.  Seriously, do everyone a favor, do the survey, and get over it.  Refusing really only wastes your time.  Doing the survey usually takes less time than you spend chewing out the person calling you and it helps that person get the proper  of "completes" as in completed surveys which allows him/her to keep the job and feed a family.  Completing the survey will get them to stop calling you.  It won't cause them to call you more often.  As soon as you're listed a complete, your information is taken out of their files.

So, you are a shill for these guys!  They claim they don't have a 'call list'.  In essence, they have used a loophole (shakey loophole at that) to get around the Do Not Call laws.  But, because they persist, they are in violation of harassment.
