Excessive charges upon return home.

We have hired a car whilst on a short visit to Poland from Europcar's Wroclaw Airport office. The whole rental fee was prepaid in advance. The service at the airport was smooth and had no problems with the car.

The nasty surprise was awaiting us at home when we returned to the UK and found out that they have charged an amount to my Credit card in excess of the deposit amount I pre-authorised at the airport. After several attempts to contact them and get that payment refunded we had no responce neither from the Polish Europcar entity not from the UK customer service.

I have initiated a dispute via my credit card company and will update the post as soon as it is resolved either way.
