I RETURNED AN UNOPENED VACUUM IN OCTOBER 2007. IT WAS TO BE A CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR MY ELDERLY PARENTS BUT, THEY DID NOT WANT IT. IN DECEMBER I CONTACTED THEM ABOUT MY REFUND. I HAD PAID WITH A CHECK. I HAVE BEEN CONTACTING THEM WEEKLY FOR THE LAST TWO MONTHS. EVERYONE IS "SO SORRY" AND "THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF A LONG TIME AGO" AND "I WILL FOLLOW UP WITH THIS PERSONALLY UNTIL IT IS RESOLVED". YADDA! YADDA! YADDA! I GET THIS FROM EVERY PERSON I TALK WITH OR EMAIL AND NOTHING AFTER 4 MOS. OF PROMISES! I FEEL THEY HAVE NO INTENTIONS OF RETURNING THE $199 DUE ME. I WAS ABLE TO PURCHASE A SECOND VACUUM AT A REDUCED PRICE. NOW I HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT!

    I received a refund check in May 2008. I feel as if I was given the runaround and do not understand why. I will not do business with Oreck again.
