Another strike against the Maytag name!  These units only have a "good" working life of 2-3 years;  a very poor investment for the amount of money you spend.  When you advertise the unit as "not having an agitator", try not to be one.  The sensing mechanism sucks and the unit accumulates water inside when it begins to break down.
