I have been receiving delinquent notices from Better Homes and Garden Merideth Books, for books I did not order and did not receive.  This is the second occurance.  The first time they were billing me for One book .  I continuously tried to contact them to no avail.  I finally PD to get them off my back.  Now they are billing me for 4 books.  I do not nor do I ever want anything from them again.  Managers Name listed as David McGuire.!!!!!

    They're running a cramming scam..
    Numerous complaints report they send books to people who didn't order them, then bill for them while putting barriers in the way of "resolving" the "mistake". Sounds like a profitable little racket, if you can get away with it.

    Paying off the first one you didn't order just plays into their hands, making it look like you're a "customer".You didn't order the first book, and you didn't order these, whether you received them or not.  They are sending you bills for unordered merchandise through the US Mail, which is a violation of US postal regulations.  File fraud complaints with FTC, your state AG, and the US Postal Inspector.
