"Auto Warranties" are frequently worthless scams. Either they write their policies to exclude all the most likely things to fail, or they may even fail to disclose what they will later exclude from coverage, in which case they are total frauds.
If their exclusion is not as previously disclosed in your contract, then contact your state Attorney General, as well as the FTC and the Attorney General in the state they are located.

i also was taken for a ride first they said pull oil pan to inspect poss at my expence then denied my claim without coming to my shop to inpect as agead then after some doing they sent an inpector this started on day #1 4/16/09 on 4/20/09 denied on 4/23 the inpector said just as shop did the motor had 2 rod bearings expoded and motor needs to be replaced on 4/24/09 claims department sent shop approval for rod bearing set $48.52 oil pan gasket set 61.29 oil $31.20 coolent$68.94 oil filter $6.00 labor 17.6 per alldata and tax non covered---incdental and conseqentail damege shop says cannot replasce rod as engine has breakaway rods one use only inspector says replace motor same as shop shop also says peaces of metal lodged in oil pickup parts speadout thru the engine must rebuild long block cost w/labor $8050.97 they approved repair for fake repair that is not as good as aused engine that they wont approve only new parts but willing to fix for$2019.13 paid $4995 on 2000 mazda mpv on jan 09 and bougt warrenty on april 14 th 09 we put 3030. miles on car since purchase $2800 on warenty and have lots more payments but ????????????please any advice or evedence for my attoreny e mail me at dalesremconst@yahoo.com

Here is one way to fight back. Call their 800 number from a land line (not your cell unless you have unlimited minutes!). Turn on your television, preferably to a sleazy shopping network, set your phone on speaker phone in front of the TV and leave it for as long as their computer will allow you to record a message. Repeat as necessary. I have cost them several hours of long distance charges and will continue until I feel better. FYI, for Automotive Warrantee Solutions of Boca Raton FL, the number is 800-376-5644. I have also treated them to several hours of Sunday morning religious programming.
